2024 has been a pivotal year for Secretarium, marked by exciting advancements in confidential computing, groundbreaking innovations in our Klave platform, and strengthened partnerships with industry leaders.
As global awareness of privacy and data security grows, we’ve delivered cutting-edge solutions that empower businesses and individuals to unlock the full potential of their data with confidence.
From unveiling the Klave Marketplace to winning the Swift Hackathon, this year has solidified our position as an industry leader. Thank you to our community, partners, and clients for being part of our success. Let’s revisit some of our key milestones and look forward to what’s ahead.
Industry Activity
Privacy has never been more important. Forbes emphasised this earlier in the year, stating “It’s crucial for governments, businesses and individuals to collaboratively secure personal information and shape the future of data privacy.”.
Throughout 2024, major players like Apple and Google entered the Confidential Computing space, reinforcing the growing recognition.
While industry giants step into this space, Secretarium remains at the forefront with Klave, our advanced platform leveraging Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to process encrypted data securely.
From day one, we’ve prioritised data privacy, and evolving regulations only highlight its growing significance.
Agentic AI
In 2025, agentic AI is set to transform industries by making decisions and acting autonomously to achieve goals. However, this progress often requires processing sensitive data, raising concerns around security and privacy.
Klave addresses this challenge by enabling agentic AI to work with confidential information securely. Its advanced cryptographic tools ensure privacy while maintaining auditability, with a complete audit trail of all decisions taken by the agent and their context.
As agentic AI grows, Klave’s role in protecting sensitive data will be crucial to ensuring innovation and privacy go hand in hand.
CBDCs
As CBDCs gain traction globally, they hold the potential to revolutionise payments and promote financial inclusion. However, their adoption does raise some concern around data security, privacy, and compliance.
Secretarium is shaping the future of CBDCs by integrating confidential computing and privacy-enhancing technologies. This ensures CBDCs can safeguard personal data while adhering to legal requirements like AML/CTF rules.
We provide central banks with the tools to implement CBDCs confidently, balancing innovation with security and privacy in the evolving digital economy. When it comes to CBDC implementation, think Secretarium.
Wallets for Digital Assets
As digital assets continue to expand, spanning cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and tokenised real-world assets, secure and private wallet solutions are becoming increasingly critical. With rising adoption, wallets must strike a balance between user accessibility, strong data protection and fraud prevention.
Klave provides an advanced solution to meet these demands with the Klave Wallet, designed to securely store and manage cryptographic keys essential for signing transactions and payloads. In a future driven by digital ownership, Klave is setting the standard for secure, privacy-focused wallet infrastructure.

Regulatory Landscape
The Digital Operational Resilience Act
As industries embrace emerging technologies, regulations are beginning to reflect their potential. The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), effective January 2025 emphasises the importance of protecting data “whether at rest, in use or in transit.”. Confidential computing is crucial in this context, and our solution is ready to adopt, ensuring swift and effortless implementation.
Klave leads the way with hardware-based trusted execution environments protecting data in use, ensuring top-tier privacy, integrity, and accountability for critical financial operations.
Privacy-Enhancing Technologies
This year, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s Responsible Technology Adoption Unit and the Information Commissioner’s Office released new resources on Privacy-Enhancing Technologies. Klave provides a robust foundational layer, for developing and deploying privacy-focusing services, made accessible to all.
Partnerships and Collaborations
This year, we’ve strengthened our key partnerships and expanded collaborations to a whole new level.
Intel
Our long-standing partnership with Intel continues to drive innovation. This year, Intel sent us their powerful machine, supporting us in refining and optimising our High-Performance Confidential Computing (HPCC) solution. We conducted an in-depth performance study on Confidential Computing, revealing critical insights into the efficiency of Confidential Computing.
Thales
This year marked a milestone in our collaboration with Thales, as Secretarium became an official Thales Partner. We enabled seamless integration between Klave apps and the Thales CipherTrust Security Platform, offering a robust alternative to Intel SGX’s sealing of keys. By combining advanced policies, certified hardware, and mutual attestation, this integration gives enterprises better control over the release of cryptographic material. This partnership united Thales' leading cybersecurity solutions with Klave’s flexible SDK, delivering a powerful Confidential Computing solution.
Partnership Programme
Additionally, we launched our partnership programme, welcoming ADC Consulting as our first partner. This initiative has generated significant interest, and we’re excited to acquire more business introducers and system integrators in 2025, reaching new industries and clients. Explore our partnership programme opportunities here become a key player at the forefront of technology innovation.
Community Building
This year, we connected with more people than ever through events like London Tech Week, Sibos 2024, and WebSummit. Our Discord community also grew significantly, becoming the hub for developers and innovators exploring Klave.

Looking Ahead to 2025
As we reflect on our journey, we would like to thank everyone who has been part of our success.
In 2025, we will continue pushing boundaries in digital assets. Having pioneered the tokenisation of real-world assets, we are proud that SoftMetal, the first exchange run on our platform, is already making an impact. Next year, we aim to expand to new asset classes, setting even higher standards in the market.
We are also charting new territory in agentic AI. Klave is uniquely positioned as the ideal infrastructure for AI agents, offering unparalleled data privacy and auditability. With our first AI agent customer set to onboard in Q1, we’re excited to showcase the strengths of Klave.
Our mission to simplify the adoption of confidential computing remains a priority. In Q1, we will deploy the Klave SQL driver, enabling secure and efficient data processing, and propose DORA-compliant data storage solutions.
Developers will find more tools at their fingertips as we roll out SDKs for additional programming languages like .Net and enhance the overall development experience on Klave.
Make 2025 the year you reclaim control of your data and prioritise privacy.
